Help me raise $$ for Nursing School

Hi Friends,

 

Hope everyone has been well through these difficult years. I always revert back to our great memories together when tough times arise and wish that we can make memories together again.

 

As you may recall, I have been preparing for nursing school for many years. My current and past work has revolved around serving the underprivileged and vulnerable community in crisis in San Francisco and I would like to continue to serve others as a Nurse. I know I will make a great one, as it’s almost my nature to go above and beyond for those who need help.

 

I start my accelerated Nursing program May 31st and I am having a hard time getting loans approved for the final amount needed. I have the support of my mother as a cosigner, we both have great credit scores/history, and I have the max amount of $$ borrowed from federal student loans (FAFSA). Since this will be my 2nd B.S., the amount FAFSA is lending me is not enough when compared to the almost 90K tuition, and this is excluding living expenses. I have applied to countless scholarships, paid down debts and this unexpected challenge in the last inning was the last thing to expect.

 

I ask of friends and family, and maybe even strangers alike to help me reach my goal and ease my transition back to school so I can focus on this great challenge. You will not only be helping a friend but will also be investing in a nurse that will always go above and beyond for her patients and those she loves; if youre lucky enough, I may be your nurse one day. :)

 

In my heart of hearts: I would love to get this weight off my shoulders to focus on school and not how to finance it.
