Help me raise enough money to fix my eye and teeth!

When it comes to myself, I usually try to power through things on my own- what's a moment of discomfort if it's only affecting me? That whole thought process changes when it is someone else hurting or in this case, a cat.

This is Cheese and here is his story;

A couple of months ago an old friend told me she needed someone to watch her cat temporarily. I agreed since I love cats and believed that pet-sitting for a couple of weeks would be nice. What I wasn't told was that this cat was sick. The couple weeks I thought I would take care of him quickly turned into months. When I brought up my concerns about his eye, how it always seemed irritated, leaky and inflamed, she assured me that it was normal for him. One vet trip and hundreds of dollars later confirmed that it was an infection, one that had been left untreated by her for years.

These vet trips became a common part of my and Cheese's routine, as he constantly needed new medication and treatments. During his last vet trip, the doctor found gingivitis (gum infection) in his mouth and a rotted tooth. A dental needs to be done. At this point, I am only making enough money to get by each month. With Cheese now needing a tooth extraction that I can't afford. Some of my friends asked me why I don't just give him back to his owner, and it's a simple answer.

I will not let this cat go back if he doesn't get the help he needs.

So I am coming on here, to ask you for your help and support. Please help me finally give Cheese the healthy body he deserves, help him know what it feels like to not be sick. To help me continue to care for him the best I can. The money donated will go towards his medication, treatments and surgery!
