Help Me Qualify for the 2026 Commonwealth Games

Hi, my name is Steph Walker, and I'm on a mission to qualify for the 2026 Commonwealth Games in judo. I am the number one ranked athlete in Wales in the -57kg category and have won two British Championship medals since returning from surgery in 2023.

In 2022, I missed out on representing Wales at the Commonwealth Games due to a major elbow injury that required surgery, it was one of the toughest moments of my judo career. But now, I’m back stronger and more determined than ever, to represent Wales at the highest level I can at the Commonwealth Games.

To secure my spot, I need to travel and compete in multiple high-level international tournaments and take part in international training camps to gain the essential world ranking points I need to qualify. These events are self-funded, and the costs quickly add up including, flights, accommodation, entry fees, and training expenses.

This is more than just chasing a dream. It’s about representing Wales with pride and inspiring the next generation of my sport, Any contribution, no matter how small or big, will go directly toward helping me compete, earn points, and get one step closer to qualifying for the Commonwealth Games.
