Hello Family & Friends,

My name is Michelle aka Micha or Shelley, some of you may already know my situation, some of you may not. But I'm a momma of 3 beautiful teenagers who I've had the honor of raising and calling my cubs. And for almost 3 years now, we've been without a home, due to having a slumlord landlord. We have lost our comfort and our security, and regardless of working day in and day out and making whatever money on the side that I could it's been nearly impossible to save up any money for a place because I'm paying over $700 a week to keep us at a hotel on top of any and all other expenses. All of my kids are now in H.S and as a parent you know how costly things and events can cost. Every dollar goes to paying for the motel and our necessities, never leaving me with enough to put away. If you know me, you know I don't ask for hand-outs, I've always tried to handle my own, but being prideful and not reaching out for help the first time around is what led me to losing everything. I don't want to make that mistake again, so as my family I'm asking for your help here today. I'm not one who likes being vulnerable so publicly but our Lord God has gotten us this far, and I'm going to do anything I can to put a roof over our heads. Life happened and it hit hard and in today's economy it's only gotten worse and left us with even less then when we started out with. God has been good to us, and has never let us touch the ground and has kept our heads afloat and now He has prepared a table for us, and I have an opportunity and a guarantee of a place for us. A two bedroom duplex... Move in is beginning of next month and they are asking for first months rent and a deposit. I need to raise $2,200 more in order to move in. I do not have the entire amount that I need to proceed forward. I have HALF of what I need. Not because I can't afford to live there down the line, simply because of what I have to pay on a weekly basis leaves me with nothing in my pockets. I'm asking for any donation amount, even if it's just $1, or $5. Anything and everything helps. If you don't have it I understand, if you could just please forward this to some close family and friends that wouldn't mind helping that would be more than enough. Please help me give my kids the hope and the light back in their eyes that was taken with no fault of their own. God is working wonders, and I'm praying that you'll help us make what feels impossible, possible again. Thank you for your prayers, time, thoughtfulness, and donations.
