I have been diagnosed with MDS (which is a form of adult leukemia)and am going for a stem cell transplant on 11/9/2017. I have worked all my life and as of July I have been unable to work anymore due to my illness. I have applied for Social Security and all they are giving me monthly is $735.00 . Unfortunately that does not even cover my rent of $750.00 a month. I do not u understand how anyone can live on that. I have monthly bills that have accrued that is approximately $2000.00 a month. This does not even include any medical bills. The stem cell transplant costs $540,000.00. I am just asking for help from people with a heart to help me pay monthly bills. I am a 54 year old woman who worked for 40 years and I depleted all my savings while waiting to get some sort of assistance. Please help me to fight this cancer so I can possibly be cured. A positive attitude is essentially but having this financial burden is making it very difficult. Thanking you in advance for any help you might offer.
