Offering him my help until he gets a new job was the biggest mistake of my life, resulted in multiple guilt tripping and manipulation, stealing , being depended on me for over 3 months and the list could go on.
Long story short, currently im stuck with about 6.5k credit card debt on my name and it cost me about £300-400/month on minimum payment which means over 50% of it being deducted as interest. After paying my own bills pretty much this is all my excess income and i left with nothing.
Not sure how long i will be able to keep up with it. I do take extra work to help towards the debt but due to a long term foot injury i got over 2 years ago im physically limited in the hrs of work i can do.
i do get promises in regarding the re payment of this debt from him but i haven't got anything so far and i have been paying it a few months now eating away my savings which is also my pension as im self employed.
If by any miracle i raise enough to pay off the debt and/or getting paid back by him i will be donating all the excess money i left with to a charity that is LGBTQ+ related. (still havent decided which one exactly, also recommendations are welcome)
