Hi, my name is Jo. My best friend Albie the cat had an emergency procedure and is in the veterinary hospital due to what we thought was swallowing cotton thread. Turns out it was a sewing needle aswell. Long story short he's in the animal hospital receiving treatment . Although the bill we have so far has reached to just over the amount we have set as our goal. We got told between £500 to £1500 but is currently at £800. I got albie and his sister chilli together to help me after losing my mum to cancer. I also had dogs who sadly I no longer have due to their old ages and sadly passed to rainbow heaven . Albie was the best thing to happen to me . I got him with his sister chilli nearly 2 years ago and spend every single second with them. It was a freak accident that happened he got into a sewing kit and started playing with thread and swallowed the needle i did not know this I only saw the thread . And sadly the consequences of having to have him emergency looked at we are just so lucky we didn't lose him and he didn't have to undergo emergency major surgery as they luckily got this they're very confident . . He's on lots of medication etc and hopefully he can get him home by tomorrow.. the bill of what's not covered we will really struggle as we learnt the hardway with insurance that doesn't cover us . So any donations nothing is too small would be massively appreciated just would really help us . Thank you for listening and thank you for reading this far . These cats saved my life . update - they told us we have a bill of just shy of £1000 . we are thankful albie is okay but to now find £1000 to pay the vets is a massive strain and we have no idea how we are going to be able to do this . all that matters is my boy is okay but I'm just stuck with how we are to pay the bill thank you for all the support with my whole heart it means everything xx
