Futuro medico. Sopravvissuto. Credente.
I am a medical student from Gaza. And like every young person in my homeland, I dreamed of saving lives—not just surviving mine.
When the war came, I didn't flee. I stayed. I volunteered at Nasser Hospital, right in the middle of the chaos. I held the hands of the wounded, watched children take their last breaths, and comforted mothers who had lost everything. It was my duty. It was my humanity.
Today, I am in Italy. Evacuated. Alive. Grateful.
But my dream is stuck at the door.
During my years of study at Al-Azhar University in Gaza, I accumulated tuition fees totaling €10,000. To obtain my certificates and transcripts, so that I can pursue my academic and professional life, I must pay this full amount. It is a sum I cannot afford after losing everything in the war—my family's home is gone, my savings are gone. But my will? That is still here.
The total outstanding fees amount to €10,000—a sum I simply cannot afford after losing everything in the war. My family's home is gone. My savings are gone. But my will? That is still here.
Why now?
Because the academic year is starting this September. If I don't pay in time, I lose my spot—and I lose a year I cannot afford to waste. The war already took so much. Please don't let it take my future too.
Be part of my story.
With all my gratitude,
Future doctor. Survivor. Believer.
