Hi! My name is Rose. I’m known to spread positivity and sunshine around (: Here’s a little background about what’s going on and why I made this GoFundMe.

I’ve been direly sick since April 16th, 2020. It has been an extremely rough 6+ years since I got severely ill and have been living in 24/7 disabled hell. I've tried 104+ medications, 42+ therapies, had 15 surgeries, 319+ tests and procedures, been diagnosed with 70 medical issues, seen 200+ healthcare providers, tried 105+ supplements and herbs, and I have over 54 known allergies. I feel like a lab rat. I haven’t been able to eat/drink anything without pain and discomfort and so many side effects and symptoms. The mental strain and physical toll has taken a beating on me. I’m unable to speak verbally without extra pain and worse breathing, so I do most of my communication via typing. I have constant pain throughout my body and have shortness of breath/dyspnea that’s 24/7. Those are my two worst never ending symptoms. I have endless sleepless nights. I'll add a lot of my torturous symptoms below.

During all of this I had to deal with traumatic things. I had to leave my libelous ex, I found my cat/daughter Lily 2 temp homes until she passed away due to her falling off a balcony at someone’s home, I lost my dog Sonic at the age of 14 to a tumor, I put my belongings in storage and had to move it all to a second storage and in the end, into a third storage, I had to leave my job, that I enjoyed, I had to sell my vehicle, I had to walk away from unhealthy friendships and habits (Heart wenching), I had to leave my home in Miami due to black mold and have had to stay in NYC with my family creating bigger issues for my health with the high allergy count and frigid weather that affects my health negatively in substantial ways. Being in a crowded home yet feeling so isolated is no easy day to day burden. I have lost a lot more than I could ever begin to write here. I miss Miami, working out, traveling, feeling young and whole, not being disabled, being able to eat, being able to talk and move my body as I please, being able to be a normal girl in her young adult years. I miss having a life.

I have a team of doctors working with me and we may have finally figured out that the root cause is my SRS that’s creating all of my issues, but so many things have been created due to it being so many years in this debilitating state. As you can imagine I have medical bills that have been adding up for 5+ years. I need to be able to afford to do what needs to be done to heal.

I ask that if you could find it in you to donate, it will add up and it will help me no matter how much. I dislike asking for help, but I am disabled now continuing to lose my prime years of life. Symptoms

Main symptom: Dyspnea(Difficulty breathing 24/7 and doing anything)

Gut: bloated+distended, abdomen pressure, mostly in the epigastric, belching, can’t eat

Pain/tightness with touch or movement: Neck, skull, face, jaw, shoulders, tooth, chest, hips, arms, legs, knees, ribs, sternum, epigastric, abdomen

Other: Poor sleep, poor posture, dizzy spells, lightheadedness, rib popping, hip popping, hand twitching, discolored and infected big toe nails, can’t yawn if I lay on my left side

ENT: Ear ringing, jaw clicking, facial change, thick sputum, sinus congestion, tough swallowing, chewing, neck lumps, can’t lie on face without worse breathing)

Nerve pain/numbness: Arms, hands, scalene, neck, skull, ribs, body spasms, knife pain in left arm/shoulder, cold sensation on my left thigh when I lean on my right side

I need at least one more SRS surgery and it seems two others I won’t get into until after the next #15 surgery. My doctors believe the main issue I have is my SRS(Slipping Rib Syndrome) that’s extremely rare and the most debilitating diagnoses you can receive in your life. Very few surgeons know about this and even fewer can perform proper surgery. It is becoming more known as each SRS patient advocates for themselves and has other people learning about this condition. This is one where it is a hit or miss and can take many trials and errors until it’s done right for my specific bodies needs. I’m desperate to start rebuilding a life for myself again. I am desperate to have my health back.
