I need some help to avoid geting evicted from my current place and moving out. I need 780$ before the 15th to avoid eviction for what I currently owe that being 1 full month of rent which is 560$ and 220$ for the amount that I couldn't pay in full recently. I recently paid him 50$ so now it's down to 730$ that I need to pay the months of rent I'm behind on. Once more information comes up I will update you guys and adjust the amount I need accordingly.
So last September while I was delivering food on my bicycle I was struck by a car. I hired lawyers to help sue the guy and I'm waiting on a settlement payment date. Ever since the crash I've been working on and off no matter how fucked up I am. I will come back to the work situation part.
I broke a bone in my left wrist and now that has basically become a disability because of how much it is affecting me. It still hasn't healed up yet and it feels very stiff and painful. I can't lift too much because of it and I have to avoid the cold as advised by pcp and his team. I will come back to this part about my disability later.
That has fucked me up ever since then and I made some good decisions too late. I exhausted my unemployment trying to pay my bills, I stayed at my current place instead of leaving even though I had no other place to go because it's too expensive to stay and too expensive to leave, I continued fighting with my roommate, I didn't get foodstamps until December, I didn't apply for housing benefits, I only started dealing with disability once they stole my tax refund because they think I owe them and there's probably some other things not listed but I need help.
I've had about 2-3 temporary jobs on and off since last September and before my current job. Immediately after the crash I did a voting canvassing job and like 1 or 2 more that all ended after election season. Then some mystery shopper job that I thought was a scam.
Now I was working for amazon because they hire anybody and I needed a job. That's not working out because of my disability and now they placed me on forced medical leave. Then I get served this eviction notice in like 10 days and I need some help. Since last Friday they put me back on the schedule but I still need help to pay my landlord.
