After years of hard work, I am weeks away from graduating from medical school and beginning work as a doctor in Ireland. I am hoping to graduate with first class honours and dedicate my career to helping others, but right now, outstanding university fees are the only thing standing in my way.

Throughout my four years of study and clinical placements, I worked continuously alongside university to support myself and pay my fees as best I could. I planned carefully, took out loans where necessary, and did everything possible to stay on top of costs. Unfortunately, with the rapidly increasing cost of living over recent years, I have not been able to keep up financially despite my best efforts.

I now have a significant amount of outstanding university fees in my final year. I have applied for additional loans, but due to my existing student debt, I have been unable to secure further credit. My university understandably cannot allow me to graduate until these fees are paid.

This fundraiser is incredibly difficult for me to make, and I have chosen to remain anonymous for personal and professional reasons. I never imagined I would be in a position where finances could prevent me from fully crossing the finish line after years of sacrifice, study, and work.

Any support, no matter how small, would mean more than I can express. All donations will go directly toward clearing my outstanding university fees and helping me graduate this summer so that I can begin work as an intern doctor in July.
