Help Paying for Treatment from Bioxcellerator
Hi everybody,
I am trying to take a trip to the Bioexcellerator Labs in Medellin, Columbia for stem cell therapy for all the injuries that I sustained in my motorcycle wreck last year. The cost of the entire treatment including everything from hotel stay to MRI's and consults to the heavily discounted treatment itself brings me to a grand total of $39,597.34. The only things not covered are airfare and food, which is why I set my goal to be a little bit higher. As a lot of you might know my injuries and situation has prevented me from working for the last year, I am getting by fine, but this next step in treatment will be a difficult one to tackle financially.
I understand that there is a lot of stigma surrounding stem cell research pertaining to the ethics, but I can assure you that if you research this company, they are respectable and ethical. For those of you interested, here's a link to their website. https://www.bioxcellerator.com/
The injuries that I had: Compound tibia/fibula fracture above my right ankle requiring internal fixation surgery, torn ACL/PCL/MCL and sprained LCL in my left knee, coccyx fracture, major laceration to my coccyx area requiring a colostomy surgery (will be reversed Sept, 2021!!!), broken T10 and T11 vertebrae requiring internal fixation surgery, injured spleen, 8 broken ribs, a broken sternum, and i had lost so much blood that they had to give me 2 different blood transfusions.
The entire experience has taught me a number of invaluable lessons, one of which being, when it comes to your health or quality of life, no price is too steep. So as much as I detest asking for help (especially money), I am setting my pride aside for now and asking for help. I am trying to turn my life around from things as little as just staying hydrated, to as trying to decide how i can further my life in a direction that doesn't just benefit myself, but others as well. One step at a time.
It is not often that somebody gets a new lease on life, I consider myself extremely lucky and have overcome so much with help from everybody close to me and a lot of people that I didn't even know before all of this. I am grateful for whatever help I have gotten through all of this and I am grateful for whatever help will come.
To all of you that donate, again, I am extremely grateful. To everybody that shares this or even takes the time to just read, I am extremely grateful as well.
You guys are awesome and its a good damn day to be alive
