I just had to take my cat to the vet. He had a mass on his mouth and he was getting skinny because he wasn't eating much. I was actually opening up so many cans of food in hoping to find something that didn't hurt him to eat that my other cats got fat.

He had to be hospitalized for 2 days and the vet bill came to almost $1800. I'm already behind on my rent and my freelance work dries up in August so this is not an expense I can easily manage.

I did use care credit even though they gave loan shark interest rates.

My cat is back from the vet. He's eating again. He's still skinny but I'm optimistic. Hopefully it's not cancer.
