Help me pay for Reconstructive Surgery abroad

My name is Noor (she/her) and I'm in need of support to cover the rising medical costs that stem from my medical transition.

Some of you may remember my story and subsequent fundraiser from 2022, raising funds for GRS (Gender Reassignment Surgery) whilst ensnared in a troubled home which I fled in January the next year.

Much has happened since then. Because of the persistent support of strangers, family and friends like you I was able to undergo gender affirming surgery in July 2023, I was provided with a temporary home to stay my recovery by a more than caring family.

However, things did not turn out for the better.

In spite of my efforts to get the necessary transition care, to keep a roof over my head and to recover from the separation of a parent and the familial home, I have not been able to secure any of these goals. Instead I've navigated a series of unfortunate and taxing events.

Primarily I suffered several severe complications from said surgery in 2023, including necrosis (tissue death) and stenosis (extreme scarrification). I underwent two recontructive attempts in Belgium to little effect.

Accordingly I must look to expensive specialists abroad for my need of reconstructive surgery and pain relief no coverage by my healthcare (insurance) providers.

Finally, I have not been able to live at a fixed address for more than a couple months since early 2023. What has been a period of thuisloosheid/housing insecurity entailed 14+ moves to various locations around the country.

The funds I had saved up for transition are in jeopardy because of the many hidden costs associated with not having your own roof, loss of disability payment, perpetual moving costs, abuse of landlords, etc.
