So… I didn’t plan on adopting a cat today.

There’s a little community of feral cats in my neighborhood that everyone kind of looks out for. One kitten in particular has always stuck close to me — sleeping under my car, creeping on me from a distance, and slowly earning honorary roommate status.

This morning, we found her under my boyfriend’s car — except this time, she couldn’t move. Cue the panicked drive to the vet and a very expensive plot twist: her front leg is badly injured and needs to be amputated.

The good news? She’s going to be okay. The better news? She’s officially moving in. (She didn’t ask. She just knew.)

Now I’m suddenly a cat mom with a tripod on the way, and while I’m covering what I can of the vet visit, the surgery is a bit out of budget. If you’re able to help or even just share, it would mean so much. She may end up with three legs — but she’s got the sweetest spirit, full couch access, and apparently, my entire heart.

Thank you for helping this spicy little gremlin live her best life. I’ve been calling her Kiwi
