Hi, name's Adam.

I started my transition 2 years ago, but only recently was I able to legally request my name to be changed on paper and to jumpstart my top surgery (yay for bodily autonomy!). My lawyer, although good willing, cannot ask for a sum lower than 3k euros as payment. This has put me in a difficult position and I may not be able to fully go through with the procedure.

I am asking for help to the kindness of whoever can.

Before you ask, my family is still in complete denial about my identity. Should they know I am in the middle of a legal procedure, they are entitled to dispute it and may very well disrupt (or worse, void) the whole process; I cannot go to them.

I'll give regular updates as I embark on this journey. I will say upfront, however, that this sum will be used to pay off my lawyer's fee.
