Help with critical expenses required for my dog Harley

Hi there! My name is Angelica and this is my beautiful dog Harley, she’s 6 years old, she weighs 30.5 kg and some say she’s a big girl.

I adopted her from Pawsitive match here in Calgary, Canada when she was a puppy and we’ve been inseparable since then. I’ve been living in Canada for almost 7 years, I studied here, paid my taxes, did everything as you’re supposed to but I wasn’t lucky. This year my permanent residency got rejected (for the third time) and now my time is running out and we need to leave.

Because of her size and weight the airlines have been very difficult and since my priority is my dog’s safety and wellbeing, I decided to hire Sevenoaks Animal logistics to help me with her transportation.

I am originally from Venezuela but since the political situation over there is still so complicated I’ll be travelling to Europe looking for our next home.

Here’s a list of the services they include:

-Airline air freight charges from YYC to BCN

-CFIA document endorsement of pre-export documents

-International airline tender, kennel preparation and Transport Canada -Security check

-Administration, consultation, preparation of export documents & booking fees

-IATA compliant travel kennel c/w moisture vet bed™ & required food & water containers

-Kennel fitting and complimentary delivery of travel kennel within the Calgary city limits

All of it rounds up to a total of CAD $4,000

That’s not including what the airport will charge me when we arrive to Barcelona, I’ve been told it will be around CAD $900 (£600).

The rest of the funds will be used for her train ticket Barcelona-Madrid, her food, bed and basic things she’ll be needing in our new home.

As an immigrant, once your work permit expires you can’t be employed anywhere, so I’m currently unemployed. I’ve been using all my savings to pay for our basic needs like rent, food, utilities, vet appointments, etc. That’s why I urgently need your help.

I’m asking you today from the bottom of our hearts to please help us raise the money. My dog Harley is everything to me and I’m going to do everything in my power to stay together. I’ve been her companion since she was 2 months old, It would break each other’s hearts having to go separate ways.
