Luffy’s Vet Visit and Procedures
Donation protected
Hello, on Thursday 7/3/25 Luffy began to display signs of illness. My once-happy, playful puppy became lethargic, refusing to play, eat, or act affectionately. He was taken to a 24-hour clinic at 10/11 PM and was brought home at around 2 AM, where his state worsened at 4 AM. Yesterday, 7/4/25, he was taken to a different clinic where he was given bloodwork and x-rays, discovering he had eaten something he wasn’t supposed to and needed surgery. This surgery would run me about 9,800-9,900, which are funds I do not have. He’s still a puppy, and I’m devastated that something like this happened to him. If you or anyone can help in any way, it is beyond appreciated.
Update: As of 7/5/25, Luffy has returned home from the animal hospital. Thankfully, surgery was not necessary and deducted from our vet bill. Unfortunately, for the overnight stay, items required, and medication, the bill is still as expensive but not as much. Instead of $9,800-9,900, my family and I owe $5,600-5,700. Though still hefty, it is not as much as it could've been, and I am thankful for that. Donations and shares are still very much appreciated. And thank you to those who have already done this. My family and I are beyond grateful.
