Hi everyone! Most of you know me as @yourlocalartistboo from Instagram. I’m raising money to continue my college education after being kicked out of my home the day I turned 18.

My parents never supported my dreams of going to college. They viewed me as a burden and made it clear I wasn’t wanted. After years of emotional abuse and walking on eggshells, being forced out with no warning was devastating. It was the first time I truly felt unwanted, and after a year of struggles, I decided I wouldn’t let that define me.

I’m currently funding everything on my own – rent, tuition, food, transportation – and it’s a heavy weight to carry. I’ve taken a gap semester to work full-time and save up, but I’m determined to go back and earn my degree in a field I’m genuinely passionate about. I just need a little help getting there.

To support myself, I started an art account on Instagram (HIIIIYA TO ALL MY LOVELY FOLLOWERS). I offer first commissions for free, and some kind people choose to pay anyway or come back for paid work. It’s one way I’m trying to stay afloat while doing something I love. And yes, random donations are also deeply appreciated and help more than you know.
