Hi, my name is Verónica Villar, and I'm reaching out for support during one of the most challenging times of my life.
On December 27, 2024, I was unfairly dismissed from my job after enduring severe workplace harassment for months. The harassment had been sporadic for over a year, but everything escalated after the tragic and devastating loss of my son on May 31, 2024. Instead of receiving support, my workplace intensified the pressure as they realized how vulnerable my mind was, making my work environment unbearable until they finally fired me—without severance pay.
I had no savings, so I was forced to take out loans just to cover basic living expenses. On top of everything, my mental health has suffered greatly, and I have been diagnosed with severe depression and generalized anxiety disorder. Because of this, I have been unable to seek in-person employment.
Still, I refuse to give up. I’ve been working hard on different online income sources, such as:

Why I Need Help
I am now drowning in debt while also preparing for a legal battle against my former employer, the Mexican government. It’s truly a David vs. Goliath situation, and I fear potential corruption in the process.
On top of this, the stress has caused me severe bruxism (teeth grinding) at night. As a result, one tooth has completely broken, and two others are partially damaged. I urgently need to see a dentist, but I simply can’t afford it right now.

Hola, mi nombre es Verónica Villar y hoy te pido apoyo en uno de los momentos más difíciles de mi vida.
El 27 de diciembre de 2024 fui despedida injustamente de mi trabajo después de soportar meses de acoso laboral severo. El acoso había sido esporádico por más de un año, pero todo empeoró tras la trágica y devastadora pérdida de mi hijo el 31 de mayo de 2024. En lugar de recibir apoyo, en mi trabajo intensificaron la presión al notar mi vulnerabilidad emocional, haciendo el ambiente insoportable hasta que finalmente me despidieron… sin liquidación.
No tenía ahorros, así que tuve que endeudarme solo para cubrir lo básico. Además, mi salud mental se ha visto gravemente afectada; fui diagnosticada con depresión severa y trastorno de ansiedad generalizada. Por eso no he podido buscar empleo presencial.

Ahora estoy ahogada en deudas mientras me preparo para una batalla legal contra mi ex empleador: el gobierno mexicano. Es una verdadera lucha de David contra Goliat, y temo que haya corrupción en el proceso.
Además, el estrés me ha causado bruxismo severo (rechinar los dientes) por las noches. Como resultado, un diente se rompió completamente y otros dos están parcialmente dañados. Necesito atención dental urgente, pero no tengo cómo pagarla.
