Hi, My name is Raquel I live in Los Angeles California, I am originally from Barcelona, Spain. I came to this country 17 years ago following my heart, my passion and God’s will. I am a Dancer, Actress, Writer. But overall I consider myself a beautiful bright soul that always is helping, loving and enlightening other’s. “The light of this world someone said”. On 11/6/22 woke up and go to work expecting that my day will go well as most of my days. But we never know what life will bring us into our lives. That day I had a really bad car accident on the freeway that put me that day on the hospital and now on Permanent Disability. My whole life changed on the blink of an eye! I am now dealing with serious injuries in my body and a lot of pain. I am not able to walk properly, not able to working( which I love my job and career) and do all this beautiful things I used to love to do. Like dancing, hiking, working out, snowboarding, skateboarding, surfing, biking… The impact of this accident is doing so much damage in my life, no only physical, mentally and spiritually is also affecting my finances. This past Thursday 06/08/23 my biggest fear came through. Being Homeless! A vacate of notice came to my door. The lawyer I hired to take care of my case did not do the job. Yesterday I went to the court to requesting a hearing from the Judge and filled up all possible documents to have this eviction being stopped. I am meeting with the Judge on Monday 06/12/23 at 8:30am to prevent me to losing my place, because the sheriffs will be coming to my place on Tuesday 06/13/23 to ask me to leave. Pray for me . That is why I am reaching you out to please help me to do not be evicted, from a home that I had lived 13 years of my life. That I took care of it and built a cozy, peaceful, loving and safe space for myself and others. Also will support me to keep up with my treatments to get back on my feet and pay some treatments that I need. Honestly since the accident I had been losing almost everything I had worked hard and built from 17 years. But I also had been learning so much on this process that life is putting me through. I am learning my strength, how to be with pain and transmute it into light, learning that no battle is being fought alone, learning to let go and let God, trusting that with faith and love everything is possible, learning to be in the present moment and definitely to have unconditional compassion and love. Learning that I am fighting this battle and that I am not alone . That am very grateful for all the people that day in and day out no matter what are by my side.
