Three weeks ago, I stepped into my very first beauty studio.

And honestly… saying that still feels surreal.

After more than 10 years as a licensed cosmetologist, instructor, and creative entrepreneur, I finally have a space of my own—a place where I can bring together so many of the things I love: beauty, creativity, fashion, artistry, and most importantly, people.

Since moving in, I’ve already had the blessing of welcoming clients into my studio. Every appointment, every conversation, every person who has trusted me with their beauty has reminded me why I worked so hard to get here.

I am incredibly grateful.

I haven't officially had my soft launch or grand opening yet. Right now, I'm taking this time to get the studio fully prepared, organized, and equipped so that when I officially open those doors, I can welcome everyone into a space that feels like the vision I've carried for so long.

But here's the part of starting a business that you don't always see.

Opening the doors is only the beginning.

There are ongoing studio expenses, professional supplies, equipment, furnishings, décor, marketing, and the many little things that come with establishing a brand-new business. At the same time, I'm working to build my clientele and create consistent momentum.

That's why I'm continuing to ask for support.

I'm not asking anyone to build this business for me. I'm here. I'm working. I'm serving my clients. I'm learning, growing, and doing everything I can to make this dream sustainable.

I'm simply asking for a little help during this important beginning stage.

For years, I've poured into other people. I've continued my education, returned to school after 12 years to earn my degree in Business Administration, built relationships with clients, taught others, and kept going through seasons that could have easily made me give up.

But I didn't.

And now I'm standing inside something I once only prayed about.

The doors are open. The dream is real. And now I'm building.
