Hello Everyone,
My name is Aurora, and I'm reaching out to you with a heavy heart but a hopeful spirit. For 10 years, I've battled the debilitating effects of Ulcerative Colitis, and now I'm at a critical crossroads in my journey.
Ulcerative Colitis, as some of you may know, is a chronic inflammatory bowel disease that has impacted every facet of my life. From excruciating pain to constant fatigue, it has made even the simplest tasks seem insurmountable at times. But amidst the physical struggles, perhaps the most heartbreaking realization is the threat it poses to my dreams of starting a family.
The doctors have recommended a groundbreaking treatment option: stem cell therapy. This cutting-edge procedure has been shown to be 90% effective and offers the potential to not only alleviate my symptoms but also save my colon from the possibility of removal. More importantly, it opens the door for me to pursue the dream of parenthood – something I've held close to my heart despite the challenges UC has presented.
However, as many of you know, medical treatments, especially innovative ones like stem cell therapy, come with a significant financial burden. Despite working tirelessly and exhausting every resource available, the cost of this treatment remains beyond my reach.
This is where I humbly ask for your support. Your generosity can make a world of difference in my life. By contributing to this campaign, you're not just helping me receive treatment – you're offering me hope, a chance to reclaim my health, and the opportunity to fulfill my deepest desire of becoming a parent.
Every donation, no matter the size, brings me one step closer to my goal. (And will make you an honorary god parent to any of my future children, as you are the ones making their lives possible). Whether it's skipping a coffee or sharing this campaign with your network, your support means everything to me and my loved ones.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for considering my story and for any support you can offer. I plan to give back in any way I can, whether that is donating my umbilical cords so others can receive this treatment, or just sharing my story to someone else who needs to feel less alone. My ultimate hope is that I can not only get my life back and have hope for the future, but to have the ability to give some hope to those who are also struggling with this disease.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Aurora
