In memory of Mike aka Dropzone

My name is Mary, I'm Mike's oldest daughter. He died very unexpectedly on May 11. Thankfully, he and our mother had always been very open about how they wanted us to proceed with their deaths, but it was still the hardest choice I've had to make yet.

I don't know how long he was involved in Straight Dope (beyond it was a very long time), but his involvement changed my life. I have so many close, wonderful friends that I've met online simply because he had done the same.

My sisters and I thank you all for thinking of us in this time.
