Help me not become Homeless Fund
On 8/21/2017 I was interveiw for a Full Time position at Quiet Inn in Canadian, TX. On 8/22/2017 I returned to fill out employment and tax forms and was told they desired my employment, I was told that my training was on 8/28/2017 and that my offical start date was 9/1/2017.
However, on 8/24/2017 I received a phone call from Quiet Inn alerting me that because the employee I would be replacing had filed her resignation, under Texas law they would have to honor that or continue to pay her even though she would no longer be working for them. Therefor my training and offical employment date would be pushed back to 9/20/2017 and 9/25/2017.
My roommate however is not pleased by this and refuses to wait for me to be offcially hired and has given me until 8/31/2017 to either have another job in place before then or to be homeless. I stress the homeless issue because I had just moved to Canadian in search of employment and have no family or other friends within this town or anywhere nearby for me to go or seek help from as well as having no current funds to go anywhere else myself.
I also have a pet that I would be hard pressed to keep healthy or may not be able to keep at all should I become homeless, and I fear loosing him in any way.
I type this sparatically through bursts of tears asking for any aid possible so that I dont end up on the street asd there is no shelter in this small town of a population of less than 3000.
Goal Breakdown:
$230.00 - Bills
$700.00 - Rent to Roommate
$70.00 - Money for Food and other Nessessities
While this is running I will be looking for other employment during this one week I have until time is up and will update.
For anyone that donates and if the goal reaches its mark, when I am back on my feet I would like to send everyone a very special thanks and possibly gift baskets? I don't know what to say here really, how would you properly say thank you to someone that helps you not have to live in the street?
