Hi, my name is Christina.

I’m 18 years old, and I’ve been kicked out of my grandparents’ house. Which is basically my house bc our government checks pay for it. They got a restraining order on me after I finally called the police on THEM, after constant abuse. I don’t have anywhere safe to go right now, and I need help getting on my feet. I have a bf but I can’t live with him bc his parents don’t like me bc his moms friend called me the n word and I didn’t let it slide and since then she hasn’t liked me. I’m saying all this because growing up my grandfather would always say “well What did you do to them” and I never did anything.

I lost both of my parents when I was 9 years old. After that, I was forced to live with my grandparents. They provided food and shelter, but emotionally and physically, I’ve been through a lot. My grandparents and I have had constant fights, and my home has never felt like a home. I’ve grown up being blamed, screamed at, beat and more. My relationship with my grandfather has been strained too, and the my sister hates me bc “I quit my job and I’m bossy”. Only my brother likes me, it feels lonely and she kicked me out bc of the constant arguments and her calling me names.

Despite everything, I’ve been trying to build something for myself walking to school everyday as a full time college student, creating content, saving, and staying hopeful. I just had to drop out of college bc the walk was too dangerous. My boyfriend makes money and I make some off content but not fast enough to get a car and be on my feet. But with them kicking me out, I have no safety net and I can’t work as a full time student.

I’m asking for $15,000 to help me buy a reliable car and move out immediately. A car will allow me to get a job, or do DoorDash, make content, and continue my depop. The rest will go toward securing a safe apartment.

If you can donate, even a small amount, it would mean everything. You’d be helping me finally escape an unsafe environment and start the life I’ve been fighting for since I was 9 years old.

Thank you for reading, for caring, and for believing in me.
