I am a single mom doing my best to care for myself and my son. Recently, I went through a difficult breakup, and my ex-boyfriend took back the car he had given us. That car was our only way to get to my medical appointments and my son’s checkups. Now, we have to walk everywhere, and it’s been a real struggle, especially with my health issues.

I’ve had major surgery and need to see my heart doctor regularly to make sure everything is okay. Missing these appointments has been scary, especially when I feel my heart acting up. My son also has important appointments that he can’t miss, but without a car, it’s almost impossible to keep up. We’re falling behind on the care we both need, and it’s been overwhelming trying to manage everything on foot.

Having a reliable ride again would be such a blessing. It would mean I could catch up on my appointments, take care of my health, and make sure my son gets the care he deserves.
