Hi everyone,
My name is Jehvana, and I never thought I’d be writing something like this.
Recently, while driving home to Baton Rouge from New Orleans, my newborn baby and I were involved in a 10-car wreck. Another driver hit a car that then slid into mine. Everything happened so fast — it felt unreal. My 1-month-old baby was in the car with me, and we were both rushed to the hospital. I’m so thankful we’re alive, but it’s been an emotional and financial nightmare ever since.
My car is completely totaled, and I just found out I no longer have insurance — my aunt unknowingly dropped me from her plan without telling me. Because of that, I’m stuck with a car note on a vehicle that’s completely wrecked. I don’t want a new car or to ask for more than I need — I simply want to pay off the remaining balance on my car note so I can move forward and rebuild.
Toward the end of my pregnancy, I stepped away from social media to protect my mental health. My pregnancy was very public, and the constant attention and negativity took a toll on me. I needed to focus on my peace and prepare for postpartum, but that also meant I stopped earning income from social media — my main source of income.
I was also in the process of attaining my ABA certification (Applied Behavior Analysis) to move up in my career after maternity leave, but because of the wreck, I missed my exam date. Now I can’t complete my certification, and I’m temporarily jobless while trying to heal and care for my baby.
This experience has been devastating, but I’m doing everything I can to stay strong for my child. I’m asking for help to pay off my car balance so I can start fresh without debt weighing on me after such a traumatic event.
Any donation, share, or prayer means more than you know. From the bottom of my heart — thank you for helping me and my baby through this storm.
With love and gratitude,
Jehvana & Baby
