Help Me & My Human Reunite
Donation protected
Hi! My name is Tigger the cat. My Mom Missy and I have been challenged in many ways this past 18 months. Our most recent test has been our first long term separation due to another hospitalization. My Mom is healing in a transitional care unit and I am staying with other humans and pets who are stoopid and don't let me outside to catch birds.
My human now needs some special services to stay safe and is ready to move to Assisted Living where we can be together again.
The folks at social services have been working on Missy's behalf to find her a place where she can continue to heal and be safe and get needed subsidies. A lovely community was found, packing began, and the move is scheduled.
Six days ago a glitch was discovered! Sigh.
Not all the "t's were crossed" between city, county and state and we could NOT move!
Our current apartment lease is up in a WEEK!
Missy's friends know once she got onboard with moving it is NOT in her physical or mental best interest to delay.
We asked, "Could she move as planned IF she paid herself for all the things the subsidy would pay?"
My human mom's dedicated and skilled team of social service workers talked with supervisors and said she could—if she paid for the Assisted Living services. So the move is back on!
You know she lost her ability to work, so her funds are limited. Because of that, we are reaching out to those who love Missy to assist her in funding this next step in her healing and pay for Assisted Living services until we untangle the disability waiver situation. She can handle our rent, just not the Services the Waiver will cover.
If I don't get to see her soon, I will surely perish! I'll throw in a dead mouse like I did for aunt Lucinda, if you'll help her.

Meow, and lots of love,
