July 21st, my apartment was struck by lightning, and in an instant, my daughter and I lost everything. Clothes, furniture, our personal belongings — all gone. We’re incredibly grateful to be safe, but rebuilding from nothing is overwhelming, especially as a single mom trying to stay strong for my little girl.
