Hi everyone, my name is Julie, I'm 23 years old, and I was one of the thousands affected by the fires.

On January 8th, my life changed completely. What started as a normal day turned into a nightmare when my roommates and I were told we had to evacuate our rented home in Malibu, due to the fire. With little time to prepare, I grabbed what I could and made sure my cats were safe.

But I had to leave behind my most valuable asset - my work car. I had worked so hard to get it just months before, and it was essential for my livelihood, as I relied on it for transportation for my cleaning business. Now my home space is gone, my car is destroyed, and I’m struggling to figure out how to rebuild.
