Hello, my name is Megan. I’m was just days away from welcoming my baby boy into the world, and I never imagined I’d be in this position. Recently, my partner unexpectedly walked away from our relationship, mentally it was unstable for me to stay in the home with the person I loved not loving me back the same way because he has someone else. I thought I would have a home as I bring our son into the world.

In a matter of days, everything I thought was secure—my love, my family, and my sense of normal life—was turned upside down. Now, that he is here I’m doing everything I can to get on my feet and create a safe, stable space for us.

The funds raised here will go toward:

• Securing housing and basic living expenses

• Baby essentials that I may not already have

• Furnishings for the new place.

This has been one of the most heartbreaking and overwhelming times of my life, but I’m determined to stay strong for my son.
