Hi everyone, I’m reaching out today because I am in a crisis that has left me in the dark—literally. I am currently a tenant in a home that has fallen into foreclosure due to the owner’s unpaid debts. Because of the instability of this situation and my own extremely limited resources, my electricity has been disconnected. I am currently living in a home with no power, receiving meager government food assistance, and trying to navigate an impending eviction from a situation I didn't create.

Why I’m Asking for Help: My phone is my only lifeline. It is the only way I am able to earn the small amount of money I do have, and it’s my only tool for finding a new place to live. Without power to keep it charged or a stable roof over my head, I will lose my last remaining connection to survival.

My Goal: I am not trying to save this house; I am trying to move into a stable, safe environment where I can rebuild. Your donations will go directly toward utility arrears and reconnection so I can have light and keep my phone/work-tools charged, a security deposit/first month’s rent to secure a modest room or apartment, and moving & storage to protect what few belongings I have left before the foreclosure is finalized.
