I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to share my story. My mom is my best friend, my hero, and the reason I strive every day. She’s in a nursing home and has been taken off the kidney transplant list. She’s facing stage 4 kidney failure, and if her condition progresses to stage 5 kidney failure, she will no longer be a candidate for transplant indefinitely. I have two donors ready to help, but the hospital won’t consider cross-matching until she’s out of the nursing facility.
I work two jobs, seven days a week, but I can’t do this alone. I need to move to California, find a wheelchair-accessible rental, and bring my mom home so she can get back on the transplant list. The funds will help us secure a place to live and cover moving costs. This move is our only hope for giving my mom a second chance at life. I want to take her to dinner again, visit our favorite Tea House in Escondido, and get her scallops at Benihana. She deserves the world.
Thank you to anyone thinking of us, praying, sharing our GoFundMe, or donating even a dollar. Any help means the world to us.
