Hi everybody! For those who don't know, I have lived in shared housing in Los Angeles. Recently, my landlord has decided to cancel the lease and everyone living here must move out. I am probably moving to South Los Angeles to another shared housing. I so look forward to this because I'll have my own room. From October 2024-March 2025 I frankly had an insane and frightening roommate who left me with a lot of trauma and I vowed to myself never to share a bedroom with a stranger again (I had no choice in this matter).

So, I really really need help with the move. I expect hiring a moving company may cost $400, I will have to pay for various Uber fares (to visit my future home, transport donations to a food bank and thrift shop, to get to the house on moving day plus get around the house a bit a few days after), I will maybe need a mild bit of inexpensive furniture, small needs once I move in, like more towels and hangers/clothing storage, plus as a bonus, little things to make my room more cozy!
