In January, my apartment caught on fire after an arson. I’ve been begging my property management to move me from the third floor to the first floor, but it has been no use. I’ve been in a wheelchair for the past 5 years. Thankfully, I was at the hospital when the fire started, but I was sent right back after I couldn’t breathe from the leftover smoke in my unit. I live alone and want to move from this building. When fires start, the elevators automatically cut off. I feel like if another fire starts, I could die because I can’t get out of the house. I’m hoping to move out of here soon. Any support would be amazing.
