Help me move to Oregon in May!
Donation protected
Hello!!
My name is Pepper, and I have to move in May. I'm being kicked out because my family is moving elsewhere and they're sending me on my own. I have an entire plan with the people I'm moving in with, but currently don't have the funds to do so. I'm an artist, writer, and aspiring musician, and have been doing commission work and working a job to save up as much as I can. I've also recently been discharged from the Psychiatric Hospital under a 1013, and have been trying to manage the ~15k bill from that, while also preparing for this move in such a short timeframe.
As it stands now I don't have a car and I've been saving up for one. My current job has been cutting my hours, and I've been searching for a new, better paying one. I've been also saving up for the drive from Georgia to Texas to Oregon to pick up my future roommates, and then 6 months rent cushion for when we arrive there, but it's a lot to think of saving in such a short amount of time. I'm trying my best to save up as much as I can with my jobs, but I may need more with how soon the deadline approaches and have gotten to the point where I feel the need to have a GoFundMe! I'm planning on getting another job very soon, and I want to give updates on my status as to not leave anyone in the dark.
My cost breakdown:
Saving anywhere from $4,000-$6,000 for a car, which I'm hoping will be a van so I can bring most of my luggage comfortably without need for a U-Haul. This fund is including the insurance for a few months. We're planning about $1,200 for the trip in case of accidents and because it's cross country and we'll be needing food, but we're planning on cutting hotel costs by sleeping in the car. The rest of the fund is a few months rent and any extra I may need in case of accidents. I don't intend on reaching my goal for this fundraiser, but I'm just hoping it will be a side aid my normal income!
I appreciate any donation even if it's just a dollar!
