Hello all! As summer draws closer, I find myself staring at a contract with my name on it to march with the Casper Troopers. For those who don’t know, the Troopers are a drum corps group that have the amazing opportunity to perform our 12-minute production at 20 different sites! Much like marching band, drum corps consists of talented percussion, colorguard, and brass members, but there are no woodwinds! This means our spring training will require so much more effort than I’ve had to put in before. This is a great learning experience and performing opportunity that I wouldn’t trade for anything. Since it is so great though, there are hefty fees adding up to about $6000, but these will cover my housing, food, transportation, equipment, and valuable lessons that will last a lifetime. I have grown to love this sport and performing at a high level, so anything that can help me achieve my dream is greatly appreciated. Thank you so so much!!
