Hey friends!

My name is Jayka and I’m happy to announce that I finally secured a contract to march marimba for the Boston Crusaders this summer! If you know me at all, you know that I’ve worked for over 10 years to make this dream a reality. Countless hours of practice and thousands of dollars spent. It’s taken a lot to get here, but the journey is just beginning.

The main roadblock in my way currently is the financial aspect of this activity. Drum Corps is insanely expensive, especially a top group like BAC. While I have worked to secure as much funding as I could on my own, it takes a village to make something like this possible. I’m humbly asking for any amount that you are able and willing to give to help me accomplish my lifelong dream of marching this summer. Truly, any amount would be appreciated. If 100 people were able to donate $50, I would be more than set up for success this year.

If you aren’t able to donate but are willing to share and push this out to whatever channels and communities you can, that is dually appreciated! Anything helps when the task is as large as this one is.
