My name is Kevin Donohue and on July 27th, 2025, I experienced an epileptic seizure while driving. I flipped my car while driving 45mph and was taken to the ER, where I was diagnosed with focal epilepsy. I broke my metacarpal on my left hand (unable to play guitar for 6 weeks) and cracked my sternum and 2 ribs, as well as suffered some 3rd degree burns from the airbags releasing.

Unforeseen additional testing and medication costs are adding up.

Focal epilepsy is different than photosensitive epilepsy, and I will need to see a neurologist and several specialists to get an accurate diagnosis and understanding of what is causing these seizures.

My license has been revoked, and my bills are going to be very expensive for a period of time. Between health insurance costs, medication, and added costs of living like delivery for everything for a short while and uber for transportation, my monthly expenses are going to be difficult to manage and I am humbly asking for help in paying these bills.

I intend to seek professional treatment and get the epilepsy under control. I have been sober from alcohol and drugs since June of 2024, and 2 doctors now have been unable to accurately assess what is causing these seizures. So I need help affording a specialist/neurologist to get answers here. I am about to lock in health insurance but the costs will still add up.
