20 x Albums. 1 x Musical Act. 1 x Day. A World Record in the Making.
Hi, I’m Dave Laing, a Liverpool-based producer, songwriter, musician and the creative engine behind a once-in-a-lifetime project.
Later this year I will make an official attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the most albums released on the same day by the same musical act.
✨ Releasing 20 full-length albums on the same day. ✨
Although I've released albums before under my own name 'David A. Laing' These will all be released under the pseudonym 'Pinky Del Fuego' which is a name I use for tracks I write, record and produce but don't usually perform the vocals on. Each album is a completely different genre (male & female)— soul, rock, dreampop, pop , country, experimental, and more — all written, recorded, arranged, performed instrumentally, and produced by me alone with many lead vocals by other artistes.
❗ Important Note
This is not a result of simply turning to websites such as Suno and churning out an AI spewed ‘plastic‘ song. This will be the result of years of diligent and dedicated crafting of original music both conceived by me and created by me.
This isn’t just an artistic challenge…
It’s a statement about creativity, independence, and what a single human being can make when they decide to try the impossible.
