Help me make La Vie Noir Show into a Non Profit!

Donation protected

I started a GOFUNDME so I can turn my dance production company La Vie Noir Show into a non profit!

I’ve never done one of these before but I really believe in this. Please donate and help me spread the word so I can get this show up and running again and inspire and empower women everywhere to love their bodies and take their power back!!

My goal for this show has always been to empower women, to inspire them to embrace and love their bodies and to own their femininity and sexuality on their terms without feeling objectified. To not only create a platform for dancers of diverse backgrounds to strut their stuff, but also to inspire the audience. I want women to know they can take their power back and take control of their lives and bodies.

My vision for the non profit is to start by reproducing the show up here in Portland with a local cast at a local venue, then to expand, offering classes and workshops for anyone wanting to learn some moves, designed to help all women (or anyone identifying as SHE/HER) get in touch with their bodies, sexuality and confidence. I even want to offer Boudoir photo shoots.

But all of this costs money!

There are filing fees and lawyers fees, administration costs, grant writers, accountants, and marketing. Not to mention booking a venue, renting rehearsal space, building props and paying everyone. It's crazy how much all of this costs.

Thats where you come in!

Donate to help me get up and running. Any little thing helps! Whether it's $5, $50 or $5000, it will make a difference. I truly believe in this and if you know me, you know how passionate I am about dance and doing this show! To be able to use it to help and empower women is literally a dream come true. I have been trying to find a way to serve my community while fulfilling my creative passion for a long time and I believe this is the way! I believe this is just the beginning and that by becoming a non profit I can expand beyond Portland and eventually, reach women nationwide. But it takes a lot of time and money to get set up and find funding. Help me get the ball rolling!

If you aren’t familiar with the show, I created, choreographed, directed, produced and performed in this cabaret show. We had a limited run in Los Angeles and sold out every show!! Check out our website www.lavienoirshow.com for more info and photos.

When I started dancing Cabaret, it changed my life. I had always been shy and insecure about my body, but then I started to learn how to own my body more and my confidence sky rocketed. I started tapping into my sexuality in a way that felt powerful because for the first time I was in control. And by embracing my power I stopped living in fear of objectification.

Please help me to make my dream come true by fulfilling my greatest creative passion, while helping women fall in love with their bodies and own their power!
