Liver disease has been a relentless battle that has left my body profoundly weakened. For years, I’ve struggled with severe malnutrition, unable to keep food down, which caused my weight to plummet to a dangerous 84 lbs—an alarming number, especially considering I’m 5'8". This constant state of malnourishment has stripped me of the strength to walk and the ability to take care of myself. I’ve spent countless days bedridden, watching as my health deteriorated further. One of the most heartbreaking consequences of this illness has been the loss of my teeth. The years of poor nutrition have ravaged my dental health to the point where my mouth is in such a dire state that I’m no longer eligible for the liver transplant list. Being told that my only chance at survival is out of reach because of my teeth is devastating. I’m asking for your help to restore my oral health so that I can qualify for the transplant list and get the liver transplant that I so desperately need.
