I don’t usually ask for help like this, but I’ve reached a point in my life where I need to take a big step forward — and I can’t do it alone.

I’m currently living in California and planning to relocate to Woodville, Ohio to be closer to my girlfriend and to pursue new job opportunities and stability. This move represents a fresh start for me — emotionally, financially, and mentally — but the cost of getting there is the biggest hurdle.

The biggest expense is the move itself. Renting a U-Haul and car dolly for a cross-country move is approximately $3,300, and that doesn’t include fuel, food, hotels, or basic living expenses once I arrive. When everything is added up, the total cost comes out to around $5,500.

I’m not asking for luxury or comfort — just help covering the basics so I can make this transition safely and responsibly.

What the funds will go toward:

• U-Haul & car dolly rental

• Gas for a cross-country move

• Food and lodging during travel

• Initial living expenses once I arrive

• Emergency buffer in case of unexpected costs

This move means a lot to me. It’s about stability, growth, and finally putting myself in a position to move forward with my life instead of feeling stuck. Any amount helps — even sharing this means more than you know.
