Hi! My name is Rosalie, and I’m incredibly excited to be taking part in a once-in-a-lifetime school expedition to Kenya in 2027 with Camps International. This journey is more than just travel—it’s about working side by side with local communities, learning from them, and creating a lasting, positive impact.

Throughout the expedition, I’ll contribute to a variety of hands-on, community-led projects that are aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. These projects aim to tackle the most pressing local challenges—from improving education to supporting infrastructure and sustainability—ensuring they leave a meaningful legacy.

I’ll live and work within two rural communities, gaining a deeper appreciation for the daily lives, traditions, and cultures of the Kenyan people. Beyond the community work, I’ll also get to explore the natural wonders of Kenya—trying to spot the Big 5 on land, and diving beneath the surface of the Indian Ocean as I earn my PADI Open Water Scuba Diving qualification.

To make this dream a reality, I’m aiming to raise £5,000. I’ll be working hard through fundraising events like bake sales, plant sales, and sponsored walks—and every donation, no matter the size, will help bring me closer to this incredible opportunity.
