Hi I’m Shannon, I’m autistic and a carer for my parents. I am stuck living with my ex partner and can’t move out on my own because I can’t afford it. The house is a hoarders mess since our relationship devolved and he won’t help me clean or tidy it. I need to get my own place but have no money for a deposit/few months rent.

I’m raising money to help me move into safe, stable housing. For the past few years I’ve been living in a situation that has become increasingly difficult to cope with. The home is overcrowded with clutter and parts of it have become unhygienic, making everyday things like cooking, washing clothes, keeping my belongings organised, and looking after my wellbeing extremely hard. I’m trying to rebuild my life, find stable work, grow my self-employment, and create a safe home for myself and my dog. I’m applying for housing support and doing everything I can practically, but the immediate costs of moving are a barrier. Any money raised will go towards: * deposit and first month’s rent * moving costs * basic household essentials * cleaning/storage items * temporary support while I get settled I know times are hard for everyone, so there is absolutely no pressure. Sharing the fundraiser would help just as much as donating. Any support, no matter how small, would help me take a step towards safety, stability, and independence.
