Help me lay Rea to rest
Donation protected

It feels surreal to even be writing these words.
Hi, my name is Nadine I'm the heartbroken older sister of Rea Fillery, I have set up this GFP to help us lay Rea to rest.
My baby sister Rea fell asleep unexpectedly on 8th of March leaving us all devastated. The coroner has confirmed she had a deep vein thrombosis in her leg - that resulted in a pulmonary Thromboembolism (blood clot blocking her lung).
I'm asking you for help, as our parents have both passed away, and my brother and I are on benefits due to ill health, and have no savings or means to pay for a funeral. We've been told that new procedures mean funerals have to be fully paid for before they can go ahead.
If you knew Rea on a personal level you would remember how she was a kind and beautiful soul inside and out, she lived for the beach and ocean and loved to swim, whether in tide, pool or puddle, she also loved shopping and being around people.
Rea deserves to receive a farewell from her family and friends, and I'm hoping you will help me achieve this as it's breaking our hearts to think of her waiting months while we try and pay for the funeral out of the little bit of benefits we have left over each month. Please donate any amount you can spare and help us say goodbye to our baby sister. I will be forever grateful for your support.
We hope that those who are able to attend Sullivans Funeral Home on 26th April at 11:30 will bring a smile and tell stories of the times you have found joy with Rea.
Family are asking you to please be wearing the brightest colours you can find to help us celebrate Rea's life,
she will leave an endless void in the hearts of those who loved her.
funds will be used to pay Sullivans funeral Directors, and we wish to say thanks for their professionalism Especially Simon who's unwavering support during our darkest hour was a beacon of light, We deeply appreciate your dedication and compassion in helping us honour our little sister.
We will always love you Rea x
