In December of 2024, my world changed forever when my husband passed away from cancer, just four months after his diagnosis. The cost of his care was overwhelming, and I lost our vehicles and am now facing the reality of having to sell our home, which I can no longer afford. I am still paying off my husband's medical bills, and every day feels like a struggle to keep going.

Just four days ago, I received the devastating news that my eldest son, only 33 years old, passed away unexpectedly. The pain of losing my husband was immense, but nothing could have prepared me for the heartbreak of losing my child. The funeral home has told me that I must pay for arrangements upfront, and I simply do not have the means to do so. My husband wished to be cremated, but I cannot bring myself to do this for my son—I want to honor his memory with a proper burial.
