Help Me Lay My Mother to Rest – Funeral for Sofia Cajigas

**UPDATE**: My mom passed away on September 10, 2025.

My mom is currently battling terminal cancer. The doctors have told us there’s nothing more they can do, and we’re now focused on keeping her comfortable in her final days. As painful as this is to say, I’m trying to prepare for what’s coming, and I’m doing everything I can to give her the respectful and dignified burial she deserves.

My mom is and always has been an incredible person. She’s been my rock, my support system, and my best friend. She gave everything she had to her family, even when she didn’t have much to give. She has always faced life with strength, grace, and love, and I want to honor that in the way we say goodbye.

Unfortunately, I’m not in a financial position to afford the costs of a funeral and burial. The total expenses are around $12,000, and I simply can’t cover that on my own.

I’m humbly asking for help. If you’re able to donate, even a small amount, it would mean the world to me and my family. Every dollar will go directly toward funeral expenses so my mom can be laid to rest with the love, care, and dignity she gave to others her entire life.
