Hello to all my loved ones reading this. I’m reaching out during a difficult time. My father recently passed away, and with me being his next of kin, I’m now faced with the responsibility of covering his cremation and final expenses—something I never imagined doing.

My dad struggled with addiction and lived on the streets for much of his later life, but that’s not all he was. He was human. He had a past, a personality, a laugh, and I loved him—even when his addiction made it hard for him to love himself. He didn’t deserve to die alone, and I’m doing everything I can to give him a respectful goodbye.

Unfortunately, cremation costs are a bit pricey, and there’s no life insurance or savings to fall back on.

If you can find it in your heart to contribute—no matter how small—or even share this fundraiser, it would mean so much to me. I want to make sure my dad is laid to rest with the dignity every person deserves.
